Get thinking
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. ~ Philippians 4:8
The world is so full of discord, agony, treachery, misery……..so how do we concentrate on excellent and lovely things in the face of such pain? I think the answer is not in ignoring the bad, but being able to bring truth and hope to bear on such situations.
God, I am thankful that you offer us the gift of truth. (305)
God, I thank You that without You there would be no *noble*. (306)
God, thanks for teaching us right from wrong. (307)
Thanks God, for being the source of purity, beauty, excellence, praise. (308)
Thank You God for creating *admirable*. (309)
Please do help me to be Your agent, soaking myself in your solutions and being able to administer Your hope, even where there are no answers. Help me to think, to focus.
