In an effort to cultivate
a thankful spirit
and honour God
for the blessings
He lavishes upon me,
I am taking the time
to recognise His gifts
and thank Him for them
day by day.

a thank you or not,
We're most of us glad
for what we have got;
So let us today

Thank God with words
that are joyful to hear.
