Thank you for the food we eat
Thank you for the friends we meet
Thank you for the birds that sing
Thank you God for everything

Whether we mutter a thank you or not,
We’re most of us glad for what we have got;
So let us today and all through the year
Thank God with words that are joyful to hear.

count your blessings;
name them one by one
and it will surprise you
what the Lord has done
